AKIGATO

Creative technologist — UX, brand and 3D

Research first, then the thing itself. I work across strategy, interface, 3D and writing rather than in one of them, because the problems I care about do not arrive in departments.

Team of ten, then five

VALLAE — an escape room played in two realities Three months. Ten in the first year, five in the second after the course changed. My part: historical accuracy, 3D modelling, period aesthetics.

Solo

Coill Hibiki — a board game about your own head One month. Self-determination theory built into the mechanics.

Android

Loghy — a Socratic thinking companion Argues with your idea instead of flattering it. Playable as a browser demo.

Framework

Media Universe — an antifragile information system Two months. Master's thesis, built as a dossier and a working reader.

I worked in Tokyo through the summer of 2026 and it was the first place my ideas were tested rather than filed. I was given a wide range of work instead of one lane, and I was listened to. I would like to go back and do that properly, with the language and with time.

What I want to build has not changed since: tools that treat attention as something with biological limits, and design that earns its place rather than asking for it. I am studying Japanese and neuroscience alongside the work, and I intend to keep doing both.
